Oileán provides structured support to island governments, community organisations, and regional networks preparing to participate in major UN conferences and multilateral gatherings. Our work focuses on enabling island representatives to enter these spaces with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

What We Support

  • Clear summaries of agendas, negotiating dynamics, and thematic areas most relevant to islands.

  • Support to identify opportunities, risks, and leverage points for island priorities.

  • Practical assistance with registrations, scheduling, accommodation, and intra-delegation planning.

  • Guidance in identifying relevant events, organising side-events, preparing speaking notes, and navigating conference-side programmes.

  • Practical preparation for interviews, panels, press conferences, and on-the-spot media requests within UN venues.

  • Management of all press relations. Creation of press releases. Press conference organisation.
