We create space for island residents to discuss what matters to them, from housing and transport to livelihoods and the environment. Through workshops and exchanges, we explore community priorities and their connections with European policy, including the EU islands strategy.

The Island Youth Network brings young people from island communities together to learn, exchange experiences and contribute to environmental decision-making. We support participants to understand international processes, develop their confidence and bring their islands’ perspectives into the discussion.

We connect conversations on islands with decisions made nationally, across Europe and internationally. Through policy engagement, events and storytelling, we bring community experiences to wider audiences and help organisations understand and engage with the issues affecting islands.
