Organisation Support
Oileán provides structured support to organisations preparing to participate in major regional or UN conferences and multilateral gatherings. Our work focuses on enabling representatives to enter these spaces with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Our Services
An interactive, in-person workshop designed to demystify how global development and climate finance flows. Delivered as a 1.5-hour facilitated session, this workshop uses a hands-on card-based simulation game to help participants understand how funding moves across institutions, who controls key decisions, and where opportunities exist to access finance.
Participants work in small groups to navigate real-world scenarios, making decisions, negotiating outcomes, and responding to changing conditions. The session is ideally suited for teams of 10+ people and can be delivered in a standard office or meeting space.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have a clearer understanding of financial systems and how to engage with them strategically.
This workshop provides a practical introduction to the rapidly evolving field of biodiversity finance, with a focus on global frameworks and funding mechanisms linked to the United Nations system.
Delivered either in person or virtually, this 1–2 hour session explores how nature is valued within economic systems, the key instruments used to finance conservation and restoration, and how organisations and governments can align with emerging biodiversity priorities.
Through guided discussion and applied examples, participants will gain a grounded understanding of how biodiversity finance works in practice, and how it can be leveraged to support both environmental and development outcomes.
A highly practical workshop focused on turning ideas into clear, actionable policy and implementation pathways. The Policy & Impact Design Lab supports participants in moving from broad concepts to structured, outcome-oriented solutions.
Through a facilitated, step-by-step process, participants will define a problem, identify stakeholders, design policy responses, and map out realistic implementation strategies. The session emphasises clarity, feasibility, and real-world impact.
Suitable for organisations, governments, and project teams, this lab equips participants with the tools and confidence to design initiatives that are both strategic and deliverable.
